> ℹ️ This article demonstrates how to configure your printer(s) to print with CrossLink 1040.

> ⚠️ *By default, the program will print to the Windows default printer.*

 

**Follow the instructions below to successfully change the default printer:**

1. Login with **Admin Rights**.

2. Click **Setup **>** Printer Setup**. 

3. In the **Tax Return** **drop-down list**, select the **printer to be used to print** **tax returns**.

4. In the **Check drop-down list**, select the **printer to be used to print checks**.

5. In the **Report drop-down list**, select the **printer to be used to print reports**.

6. Click **OK** to save the changes.
