> ℹ️ In order for the preparer to electronically store their signature in CLO, you will need to capture the Preparer’s Signature for each designated preparer.

 

**Follow the instructions below to successfully capture the Preparer Signature:**

## **Method 1: Capturing the Preparer Signature from the Profile Menu**

The preparer signature can be captured from the Profile Menu ONLY if the login used is a Preparer Type login (<u><span style="color: #1f73b7">[see Understanding the Login Type](https://crosslinktax.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CSC/pages/1869290723)</span></u>).

1. Log in to CLO at the office level with a preparer login.

2. Click on the **Profile Menu**.

3. Click on **Capture Preparer Signature**.

## **Method 2: Capturing the Preparer Signature from the Setup Menu**

1. Log in to CLO at the office level.

2. Click on **Office Settings** from the Side Navigation Bar.

3. Click **Preparer**.

4. Locate the desired preparer and click** Capture Signature**.
