> ℹ️ Starting a new tax return in CrossLink Business will require two items for the initial creation.  Users must enter the Employer ID Number and select the entity type.

 

**Follow the instructions below to successfully create a new Crosslink Business tax return:**

1. Click** Add New** from the toolbar.

> ⚠️ *The ****Business Returns**** tab must be selected prior to adding a new return.*

2. Enter the **Employer ID Number** (EIN) in both fields, and select the entity type that applies.

3. Click **OK **to create the new return and proceed to the **Client Data Screen** for this entity.
